Channa Beth is a retired high school educator who realized her lifelong dream of visiting East Africa 10 years ago. It was a transformative experience that inspired her to pursue the study of Swahili, return every year to Kenya, and enroll in a doctoral program in the School of Education at Indiana University, completing her degree as the oldest graduate of the 2024 class. She has always been involved in community work, most recently serving on the Board of KILEO, a non-profit to encourage educational efforts in Kenya and Tanzania. As founder of E3 Kenya, Channa Beth is passionate as she supports Kenyan girls who seek to realize their dreams.
